Thinking of getting new PLB-ACR ResQFix 406 vs McMurdo Fast Find Max 406

I've debated on getting an EPIRB vs one of the new PLB's, and have decided on the PLB as they can be taken anywhere and even though it is a manual device to activate, can fit in your pocket or Ditch Bag pretty easily and so my questions are if anyone has any experience with either of the two above..The ACR ResQFix vs the McMurdo (Revere) Fast Find Max G. I'm leaning towards the McMurdo as you can replace the battery yourself; the battery lasts at least 48 hours, and it is submersible and waterproof, and accurate to within 100 feet.. ACR is a little smaller and I know the company from being down here in Ft. Lauderdale where they are based...

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
