Thickness of Dock lines

Sounds like 5/8ths is the way to go. Anybody buy lines from overtons? they are more than half the price of the west marine lines.

West Marine usually has a 40% off sale on dock lines every spring and fall. That's when I always buy a couple more lines whether I need them right then or not.

Did you note these guidelines on the Defender site? I do n't know that I've ever seen that before.

bow and stern lines should be 1-1/2 to 2 times beam width, spring lines should be 3/4 times boat length

I just bought these on Amazon. They seem like a decent line for the money. I am buying more stuff on line these days. I like the WM store in my area, and the people who work there but their prices are high.

I bought four or five lines from Amazon last year. Great quality and about 1/4 the price of my local West Marine (same for bumpers).
