ok so I had to rebuild my 7.4 over the winter and when it was time to put the thermostat housing back together it was shot, so I had to order a new aftermarket one ( could't seem to find an oem )
anyways the new one came with 2 balls and a rod in the top of the housing that my old unit didn't have
should I leave these in place or remove them? :huh:
I remember reading something about this but can't seem to find it
