Recently, we anchored on the Wye River for a relaxing day and to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Having just claimed our spot on Dividing Creek, I took the puppy to shore on the dink. After making landfall, I was ordered back to the mother ship by the admiral “post hasteâ€. Thinking there was a problem on board we raced back while maneuvering around a boat doing a very slow troll. The nervous admiral was found in the cabin instructing me to look at the fisherman. He was also apparently enjoying his day wearing a birthday suit and trolling for……who knows? When I said let’s go to the Wye to commune with nature, this wasn’t in the plan. He eventually left the area giving an obligatory wave.
One other boater at our marina also saw him and apparently, he can be found on the Wye River East between Dividing and Pickering Creeks.

Now how does that saying go…….â€Naked fisherman like to toast their bunsâ?

...hmmm... I wonder if his technique helps him catch more fish?

I never saw his “equipmentâ€, although the admiral did and not sure if he was catching any fish, but he sure was a happy fisherman.
