For 9 days now we have had East wind and dreaded fog on the West side of Lake Michigan surrounding Milwaukee. Visibility on water is about 100-150 yards. Three days of Air Show cancelled and now Summerfest Big Bang fireworks cancelled twice. Air Temps seem to be in the 50's at the lake and 80's at home in the burbs. Water outside the marina 46 today. I read on the "fish net post" fog was not an issue on the Michigan "East" side. Anyone else experiencing the Wrath of the cold winter effects still?

Same thing down here in Illinois Mike

There was fog from Holland to Grand Haven and north on the Michigan side last weekend and thru out the week.

I don't get it. East Wind @ 11 with fog! Thick fog. This is weird.
Where is Al Gore when you need him...

Colder water, rain, fog...hey, this is the Great Lakes. I gotta say the woods is liking this weather...so green and full, there's water in vernal ponds that have been dry for almost 20 years. Not so good for boating though...
