King James had posted a picture of the police officer involved in the shooting of the 15yo girl that was trying to stab people. Along with the picture he said 'Your Next' 'Accountability'

While I'm sure there are millions of copies of LeBron James tweet floating around, I'll remove mine so as not to contribute in any retribution toward the officer.

Video only proves chauvin put his knee on Floyd’s neck. Floyd didn’t die from a knee on his neck. He died due to heart failure. The final cause, knee, drugs, already in process of dying anyway, can’t be “proven”. Assumed? Yes. Asserted? Yes? Prove that was only cause? Medically? Nope.

If you don’t think politics played in the jury’s decision you’ve got your head in the sand.

Well, a jury that had all the facts made the only decision that matters. A jury does not make "political" decisions and the defense approved the selection of the jury. Chauvin can appeal, and just may do that.

And since you believe that LEO's are justified in that kind of action, Chauvin should be especially careful not to resist in any way as he gets installed in the jail. Wouldn't want him to have any kind of "heart" issues.
 
Chauvin took one for the team. Not political? Please, think about all the cities the jury saved.

They do when their city will burn down if they don’t convict. You can also bet your ass they were thinking about their homes and safety after these whacko’s doxed their names and where they live. If you don’t think this was part of their decision making you’re crazy.
This jury would’ve convicted him on 1st degree murder if they had a chance.

Floyd's brother commented the other day that it was nice seeing the handcuffs being placed on Chauvin. He then stated that things didn't go as well for his brother when Chauvin handcuffed him. Well, maybe that is because Chauvin complied when he stood up in the courtroom. If Floyd had complied things would have turned out differently. I AM NOT CONDONING THAT SUSPECTS DESERVE TO DIE HERE. I am only stating that Floyd escalated the incident. Had he complied we may not be having this conversation.

All of you that like to Monday morning QB need to spend a few days out there with a badge and see how your mentality changes. You have adrenaline, fight or flight (as LEO you need to be in control of the situation so flight is not usually a viable option), environmental factors (cars driving by, crowds getting rowdy, etc), and the general rule of doing what it takes to make sure you go home at the end of your shift all goes through your mind in seconds, and often less than a second.

I don't disagree with what you say about split second decisions that have to be made all the time. And I know LEO's so I do know that the training includes de-escalation and when and how use of force is done. That was addressed in teh Chauvin trial too. 99.9% of LEO's do their job with great dignity and composure in extremely stressful situations. I know with my personality, I could not do the job. I would not have pulled a Chauvin, but it would be hard for me not to react with a gun if my life or someone else's life was at risk, and its not always black and white (not talking race).

I completely agree that if you don't resist arrest, things will go way easier for everyone. But last I checked, resisting arrest is not punishable by the death penalty under US law.

You are right it isn't but it is a chaotic environment when someone resists arrest and things can go wrong. In most cases the suspect is the one that escalates it to that level. Things can and do go wrong when the crap hits the fan and when the suspect is the one throwing the crap at the fan then they need to hold some accountability in it too
 
If I insulted anyone yesterday or made it personal I apologize, wasn’t my intention. Sorry. On another note, Boat launch tomorrow 10am! Like a kid on Christmas Eve.
