The reason I love Sarah Palin so much is she drives the liberals crazy!!!!

They can't stop trying to criticize her for her show. They are probably only making it bigger and a better watched show. They look like a nice family to me. The way the younger girls take care of the little guy. Don't think you can fake that stuff.

She is generating a nice income out of it while she promotes tourism in Alaska. Props to her.

She's my gal! Hard as rocks though. I met her many times (small town) when she was mayor.

You got it the dems/liberals are scared to death of her and what she represents.

I not sure about voting her in as president, but she would make a good VP. Better yet RNC chairwoman!! She has so much to offer by being a great spoke person.....

Best looking Gov!!!

I will agree with you on most of that except for this caveat; One of the two shows I watched where she was hunting caribou... I thought she looked like and idiot a couple of times. Not very presidential.

It's not just the dem's that are scared to death of her (and I love watching them squirm about it... trying their best to find fault with stupid stuff about her, stuff that in the bigger picture don't matter). The Republicans are a little scared of her, though not as much, since a lot of what they believe in, she does too. Some of those are RINO's and that's why they're scared I think.

She definitely shoots straight and calls them like she sees them. She's not afraid to call someone out on an issue that doesn't is wrong or is questionable. And that's refreshing to see. Political correctness is getting old and people are sick of it. The main push from the Tea Party people(and they are comprised of Dem's and GOP's and Independents) is they want to see the government trimmed down, not getting bigger. And from what I see, that's what she's driving things towards. I see her as being a major driver in the next few elections.

I'd like to see her more involved in the RNC and somewhere in Government where she can push things in the right direction. I'm not sure what that position might be.

No sarcasm or disrespect intended, but what exactly constitutes "presidential" I would like a President to represent us like a true "home grown" AMERICAN, not some "plastic" store front figure:thumbsup:

A few facts some may not know.

She ran for governor against a well establish republican. Frank Murkowski. She ran away with the primary. The Alaska RNC and National RNC refused to support her. She ran away with the election.

She is very down to earth and not PC. That is what folks like about her.

BTW she make a great moose stew!!!!!

I guess it was when she took her shoes off to cross a creek... it was probably 40 degrees of so. She got her sweat pants wet also. Her father and his friend had proper boots and hunting clothing. They were miles from civilization... flew in one-by-one in a two seated airplane and she looked like she was going for a walk in the city park.

Although most have flaws, I like my presidents to have the proper equipment when they go hunting in the wilderness... especially while being filmed for TV.

Yeah, she messed that one up, and I believe she realized it, but she just toughed it out. (very much unlike Kate this past week) Sarah's as tough as they come, in what seems to be many ways. And I could be wrong, because I don't know her, but I think her inner strength is part of what makes her both admired by her supporters and feared by her foes.

I doubt if she'd be afraid of a rabbit. (I never thought that was very presidential - and I put that president only 1 notch above our current president)

Resigning as Governor certainly doesn't help her cause in my eyes.

Have you investigated (on your own, not what Couric and the left-wing press has fed americans) what she was up against and why she resigned?

moveon.org and similar left-wing groups were funding legal efforts against her(I forget the majority of lawsuits, seems like it was ethics charges maybe?) that were costing her family (and if I remember right, the state of Alaska - it's been a while since I read about the details) major legal fees to fight and were moving the focus of what needed to be done in the state government away from where they needed to be. Resigning deflated those efforts from continuing and allowed her replacement to focus on managing the state. It also allowed her to focus her efforts on things at the federal level.

You guys are kidding yourselves, Liberals LOVE Sarah Palin!

Please, oh please, nominate her for president in 2012

Shouldn't you be reading the latest issue of "Liberal life"? I heard there's a pelosi centerfold in this issue.

Anyone who thinks she does not look presidential has probably not seen what happens when Obama's teleprompter stops working properly.

I'm not saying I want her as my nominee. I just like her!

oh in that case. . .all is forgiven. Here. . let me get you a beer

oh. . .too easy. . .must resist temptation. . .just stop typing and hit ente

W was horrible at speaking, but at least he spoke from the heart. No trumped up mamby pamby speech writers for him.

Or caravan of telepromptors. Sure, W used them sometimes too but "the great orator" does not seem to ever leave home without it and 11 backups. When one stops working properly it is clear why they are so important to him.

VP you are right on! Yep it seems those who hate here does know the truth.

In the State of Alaska the governor has to cover their own legal bills. Todd was a north slope worker, maybe $80K a year. After 5 lawsuits and legal bills at about 800K, would you stay?

It was also a distraction.

Now look at her! She has a lot of money and power now.....go figure.

Last I heard, most(if not all now - I'm not sure if they've all made their way thru the courts yet) of those legal charges were found to be baseless and were dismissed. Again, they were trumped up charges brought on by the left wing org's from the lower 48 (filed under people they found and funded from Alaska) against her to put her off-balance, and take her out of action so she wouldn't be able to put up a fight against the left. But, the costs I believe were almost $1M against her at one point. Way more than she could afford on their family income. She put up a website and asked for help financially to fight these charges, and got lots of people to contribute and helped pay off her legal costs.
