Successful dinner cruise to FMB with a dry bilge and alll the fluids seemingly remaining where they belong

Stray gets the award for best prepared and looking engine compartment - sans pink generator; but, even that was well executed.
Get a piece of rubber hose over that foot slicer though.
I would like to point out that it is also teal, blue, yellow, green, and purple in addition to its‘ base white. Multiple personalities, just like me:D

I try to keep everything clean and serviceable so that it makes it easier to work on when I have to, which is always apparently

The next thing I have to tackle is bending my steering pump bracket a little bit to correct my belt alignment because I’m getting a little bit more more belt debris than I would like.

I need to get in there with some acetone and quick detailer. Hopefully it stays nice for a bit After that

Your ER is awesome! You could probably eat off that floor - I’m kind of jealous. I’d be interested in hearing any tips/tricks you have for aligning the belt. I have a lot of belt dust happening too and it’s really bothering me.

I’ve searched online about a service bulletin for the steering pump bracket. I have found mentions of the bulletin in several places, but never the content, but it was about early 2000s small block steering pump brackets, bending and causing the pulley to go out of square.

If you eyeball it, it’s the only pulley that you can see is not aligned. I just need to come up with some sort of tool to hold that big bracket without any deflection so I can bend it. I’m just gonna eyeball it. Maybe I’ll throw my 4 foot level across the faces.

that feeling you get when you have to start sanding into a brand new bravo with factory Seacore paint

and I’m a little aggravated about this rusty component. Leads me to believe that a knock off shift cable and boot assembly may have been used when I specifically requested Mercruiser or Quiksilver only.

I seriously can’t stand paying anyone to do anything down here.

I feel the same way on all of my stuff. Most people just don't fix things like it was theirs.

And down here, none of the places wash the boat after they work on it. Comes back full of handprints.

I’d be embarrassed to conduct my jobs the way so many down here do. If I did electrical work the way most of the guys down here do it back north, I’d have been out of a job

I sure wish @CSR_Admin could do something about all of the photos lost in the hack. I can’t edit anything to fix any of the posts even though I still have some of the photos

It doesn't appear that he cares all that much about all the problems since the update.

Imagine the internal screaming that took place as the rain started 10 minutes after the primer was set
