Does anyone have any experience with this new tablet/chart plotter? I'm moving to a much larger lake and I'm considering adding a chart plotter. This seems like a viable option until we upgrade the boat. I realize my iPad with the right app could pretty much do the same thing, but I like the idea of adding the optional fish finder.

Thanks for the feedback.

The fact they sell a sunhood for it suggets it may not be very easy to see in sunlight. Chartplotter is not just waterproof by daylight viewable.

The price point is pretty amazing. I hope that Panbo or someone similar does a review soon. I agree with the responder who questioned the need for a sun hood which isn't a good sign.

That's what I was thinking, for the price and no real need to have a data plan, this could be a nice temporary solution. All updates could be done while connected to wifi and it is still a tablet you can run other apps on as well.

I wonder if it would let you see camera's remotely? I have a QSee system and a DNS set up to monitor my cameras over the internet, the problem I have is that with the IPhone, unless you run some application like "MEye" you cannot see the cameras. My "Kindle" will not let me see them either, active X issues I believe. What I would like to have is something with a long battery life, that I can setup a web link to the cameras, and sit down someplace, sort of like a small coffee table book, if I want to check the camera displays, just pick it up make a few taps and viola camera images.
