I used finished lumber, 1x2 and 2x2 which raised the bunk about 1 1/2 in. and width abt. 2"
on each side at hip. I lost a small amount of headroom but I don' t sleep standing up. The new
horseshoe shaped plywood should be cut and beveled and new foam to make the most use of the new width. The 2 pieces at the head could be enlarged for a better fit.
