Not really an issue.
The current administration authorized e15 to CONTINUE to be sold during the summer months when normally it is not. Likely a bit of a play to the poorer members of society to provide a less pricey gas at the pump, albeit less efficient, more harmful, increased pollution version of gasoline. But regardless, it is just being sold like it is the other 9 months a year normally at specially marked pumps, with warnings, and only about 5% of stations nationwide.
But to be fair, the previous administration approved it to be sold year round permanently as a pander to the voting farmers. That approval was struck down by the Supreme Court.
So this is really no news, and certainly not anything to be concerned about as boaters. If you are foolish enough to put e15 in your boat 9 months a year, the extra 3 likely makes no difference.
