Pappa in 22 days I was born and given your name. Today we mark the death of your entire blackgang on the USS Arizona. Your team fought to save a dying ship and are still remembered. You, your crew and your ships photo of the #2 turret are proudly placed in my office. I know you are with them now.

Being in the NAVY was an honor to you....having your name is an honor to me.

God bless you and your staff and crew of the USS Arizona and to all military families who lost a son or daughter on this day.
