Texas Snow

So I've decided that snow is cool maybe once or twice a year. Mainly because I walk outside and see this on my boat!

Now I know this may not look like a lot to some but for central Texas its a blizzard! lol Dallas got it even worse and I think they're still getting hit. BTW cleaning snow off of things is no fun. I want my 70 degree winter back now! Can't wait til summer!

OldSkool, to most it seems that way but to us Texas folk (or me anyways) anything under 60 is cold as hell!

Nice! I justed looked at the weather channel and saw that! I might just have to hit up the pond they call Lake Bastrop lol. I can't wait to get out on Lake Tarvis again! What part of the lake do yall hang out on?

depends on whats going on that week or lake levels. if the lake is low i have to lunch at the damn. im gonna start launching on the street that just ends into the lake at the end of volente though. real easy to get back out. then cruise to carlos n charlies or devils cove from there. if levels are high i like to launch at pale face park. you can beach the boat at the flats and camp if you want there

I've always launched at that dead end road next to Volente beach. We had a family friend that had a place ajacent to VIP Marina with a dock so we would keep the boat there.

BTW I think South Austin Marine is on Hwy 71 going towards Oak Hill after you pass I 35
