Temperature

Has any one ever taken the temperature on their wet exhaust hoses on gas engines? If yes what was the highest temperature you got?

I finished replacing my manifolds last weekend. This weekend I got out to run the boat, and I shot a bunch of temps. and recorded them as a baseline for future reference. Shot a few of the hoses. . 8.1's, manifolds and elbows are different than 7.4's, but FYI.... All pics are while underway.

1250 RPM, mid point of engine's starboard hose

After the admiral had her up to 3450 RPM for about 2 minutes, same place as above pic

Lake water temp is in the low 50's.
Both engines were within a few degrees of each other.
engine's port side hoses run a few (5-10) degrees warmer than the engine's starboard hoses. (probably inherent to the cooling system design)
