Teleflex gauge questions

Hi

My port oil pressure gauge was reading lower than the stbd. At 3000 Rpm stbd 40+, Port around 30. My mechanic replaced the sending unit, no change. Of course we will do a mechanical gauge but we believe that there is a false reading, leading to the gauge. Can these units be repaired/calibrated? Also, stbd fuel gauge has a nervous tic, fluctuating as the boat speed increases. Any ideas?

My mechanic just put a manual gauge on, 35 psi at idle and 50 when revved. So that is good!
