I am restoring my boat that I picked up last year its a 1987 Sea Ray cuddy cabin 230
Engines
350 Chevy Mercury out drive
Just installed new teak on my 87 SR and sanded what I could re-use. I cleaned and oiled it (3 coats of oil). After it has been on for about 30 days it has lost its texture. Is their a product out there that I can put over the oiled teak that the sun and water will not harm the teak and give it its texture back. It was a lot work and time installing and I would sure like to show it off. Thanks for your replys in advance.

Unfortunately, you can't just oil teak and expect it to keep the look. You can use some type of sealer that will help keep the teak looking good for a while but best case scenario you'll have to redo it every few years. I have the same problem with the teak on my boat.
