I am looking for teak swim platform inserts for a 1990 39 Sea Ray.

Can anyone help?

Real or fake??

Looks like synthetic....

Not sure if Spartys looking for the real thing or not....

for a swim platform i my self would go synthetic...

You might want to stick with wood. Speaking from memory, these are basically made from 1x1ish sticks glued up into a simple grate. I'm not sure that the plastic decking material is available in the right size. The nu-teak looks good but is too thin.
The originals were teak, but you could also use mahogany.

I was looking for the real teak ones that originally came with the boat.

I have found some plastic ones made by PlasTeak.

They look ok but I wanted the wood.

I would think they would be easy to make if you have a table saw. Take the teak stock and cut it into sticks the length of the opening. Then take some of the sticks and cut them into a length 1/6 of total length. Then glue them up alternating one full stick followed by 3 of the 1/6 sticks at ends and middle. DO this until width achieved. As long as you use epoxy in good clean joints, the glue joint will be more than enough to support someone.
