I have an opportunity to purchase a TaylorMade Fastback for my 2003.5 Sundancer, but it does not include the instructions for install. I can’t seem to find them anywhere on the web. Does anyone happen to have a copy or a link which still works? Any input greatly appreciated.

Not sure what a Fastback is, but I keep this link in my favorites as it seems I'm often looking for something they make. Maybe it'll help or lead you in the right direction.

Thank you. It was a canvas enclosure that TaylorMade distributed, but discontinued about 10 years ago I believe. They don’t have any reference to it on their website.

Why not try giving them a call. Unfortunately they have a bunch of divisions so it may take a little to track down the right contact - if that division is still part of the company.

The fastback is just a canvas enclosure without a frame. I have one for my 330. It snaps on the arch and bungies to the transom. I don't care for it as the rear seat is not usable due to the lack of head room. I read that Sea Ray made these enclosures to avoid the station wagon CO issue. I had a full camper enclosure made and much prefer it to the fastback.

Sea Ray did offer an aft enclosure option, but discontinued them completely, fearing the station wagon effect and the increased CO effect.

The Taylor Fast Back was an attempt to market a simplified version of the factory aft enclosure, but they leak because of the horizontal zippers and, since they have no supporting structure, they will flap like a flag in the wind if they are not extremely tight.

Thanks Frank. I decided to pass on the FastBack, even though it was a good deal. Just not enough documentation availalable on them to do proper research.

My boat came with one that is not almost new condition.
I put it up one day to see how it was. I can see where some might want it, but I wound up taking it back down and packing it up again right away.
I doubt that I’ll ever use it.
