Many of you have these but have you ever replaced them? On this 88 300 weekend I'm working on, All three hatches were missing. (nice huh?) I have been abe to find some N.O.S. ones after searching te world over.
However, On the Bomar's that I have repalced in the past, it was a simple mater of using polysufide (Boat Life-3M) and screwing down. On the Tayor's, they come with a supply of 1/2"x 1/4" foam tape. More like weather stripping. Am I suppose to use that instad of caulk? Doesn't seem like a very good seal if so.
I searched their website but couldn't find installation instructions, only supplied parts.
