Hello everyone.....
I take pride in keeping my trailered 2005 280 in as mint condition as possible. We do have a slip that we keep the boat in during the weekends.

During the first 3-4 years, we wiped the hull immediately after each time we pulled out and waxed periodically. We have noticed that the tannins in the water are starting to brown our hull below the waterline. "The Works" removes it wonderfully, but we are finding that we have to "wipe down" and "clean" with the Works after each time in the water to keep the hull looking new.

In short, is there anything that we can do to add/bring back the gel/finish so that it will require only wipedown/removal of waterspots with ducky and periodic waxing that it required the first 4 years of its life? I'm really tired of having to clean with "The Works" everytime after removal.

Thanks in Advance for your help.

With the bottom clean and dry, spray with muriatic acid. Let it soak. Hose off.

Reapply and scrub where necessary.

Do not let this stuff get on your painted trailer.
