Saw a Russian tall ship at Mass Maritime Academy on Sunday. All the crew were all around Buzzards Bay stopping at Walmart etc. Maybe they can jump start the economy.

We plan to be out there on Saturday. Also saw the Russian ship at Mass Maritime over the weekend. Very cool.

You going down for the day, or planning to stay over? We thought about going, but the added stretch coming from above Cape Ann seems a little too far.

We were down your way on Monday. We came down the Annisquam just below the Yacht Club and anchored for lunch. It was a pretty busy spot for a Monday afternnon. Quite a lot of out of town traffic going south.

It will be a day trip for us...our stamina is pretty good after a couple of longer trips. I figure 90 minutes into Boston harbor if the seas are flat.

I think everyone was celebrating improved weather on Monday. A dockmate told me he brought his dink up the river on Sunday and could not find a place to beach it with all the boats! With the crazy weather who knows...but things should settle into their normal routine soon.

I heard the coasties trying to help a cc on the rocks near buoy 7 on Sunday. Did you hear about it?

Let me know if you decide to head down on Sat and maybe we can keep you company.

Definitely looking bumpy for Saturday afternoon. We may reconsider as we are still in PT for the trip back from the Vineyard last week.

My read is early Saturday is the best bet.

Tall Ships have been to Tacoma 2 x in the past 3 years and they are Great !!
