Taking that bow rider to the Bahamas... or the ocean

That only happened because it was a Bayliner. A 240SD could have easily handled those 5 footers...maybe even 6'. Right, Chuck?

Being serious though....it's one thing to be stupid with adults but I hate to see kids get involved in that kind idiocy.

My favorite quote around these discussions: "The boat can handle a lot more than you can."

My dad always had a way of knowing things, like he had an extra sense.

He told me, "If you have to think about it, turn back"

I have always followed his advise and always will.

IMHO - Should have never left port. Not sure what kind of captain he was or what kind of license he had???

Glad they are all right.

Now the bigger question is: Where can I get a waterproof cell phone?

I could make that crossing in my dinghy

So the moral of the story is, if you want to go to the bahamas... take a dinghy, not a bow rider.

That dude should have bought a ranger bass boat.

I'm not sure where the Bahamas rumor came from...

There was a thread on here a while back from someone asking if they could take their bow rider to the Bahamas...if I'm not mistaken they wanted to take a 240 SD. It's classic, you need to search here for "bow rider bahamas".

I had 2 of these and their great! Leave a desire for the technology of my HTC Evo, but I have first hand seen one thrown into a pool, called, and it light up! Plus their shock resistant so if you drop it or throw it (I worked for a construction company and we all had them for those reasons) it can handle it.
