Taking delivery of an 08 340 this week

THE BOAT HAS ARRIVED. I took the day off from work hoping that the boat would come today and it did. I was so excited to see it that I drove two hours with out know that it would be there for sure. When my son and I got to the marina the boat had not gotten there yet, we went to get him a book for his summer reading project (I know, he was supposed to start that two months ago) and were gone from the marina for 45 mins. When we got back, the boat had arrived. I would have loved to see the boat roll in but it was great that it was there. They had already taken the shrink wrap off and I was able to watch them put the radar arch on and start prepping the boat. Bill from the Club Sea Ray site was there and he and is wife gave my son and I a ride on his boat, we really appreciated the tour of where I am going to take my new boat on its first ride! Can't wait for Saturday!

We took delivery yesterday! MarineMax did an unbelievable job on delivery day, it truly was a perfect experience. The training was fantastic! I do have to say that it was probably the exhausting day ever. Trying to remember everything that they were showing me on the systems of the boat and then handling the boat was a bit overwhelming. After about 4 hours we were on our way up the Chesapeake back to our marina where we put her away for the night. After a shower and a little something to eat we slept like babies!

Thanks to everyone on the board for you comments along the way and especially to Bill for giving my wife and I a ride Saturday morning.

Enjoy your new boat Brett and safe boating. The dealer we used had a course called " Women on the Water". My wife found it very useful. You might check it out.
