Synthetic teak for swim platform...poll

I've read that this stuff can get hot int he sun, but that's not a real problem here in New England. I think it looks real nice and compared to real teak I see on other boats, it looks much nicer!
However, here's a before and after shot, would you add this modification?

Not crazy about the fake teak look. Real teak on some boats is great but not a SeaRay. Plus that stuff gets super hot in the summer, especially here in FL.

I don't agree with you guys. Even tho it looks faake, I like the color contrast to the all white hull and swim platform, and feel it adds to the boat. There are million dollar yachts that come with this stuff on them! And this stuff has no comparison to that cheap stuff on the cars, cmon. If it gets too hot throw some water on it...you guys are surrounded with it!

+1:thumbsup: -- Great Upgrade, and I think it adds a lot to your "curb appeal" - I would prefer Flexiteek any day over the real stuff.
