All, I thought I would post this here and not in the "Official" thread for my boat. In the 370 thread there were a couple of posts about the synch going crazy. Last year during the last run to storage our synch went crazy. It would bounce back and forth between port and starboard like it was nuts. I tried to listen to the engines and synch them by ear. I did not trust the tachs as the synch would have the needle in the middle, but the tachs were off by up to a 1,000 or so.
Reading the 370 thread this winter, some had the same thing happen. The fix was to replace the synch module which is a hockey puck looking thing in the dash. Reasearching a bit, my 3" synch gauge is no longer available. It is now 2". I bought the synch module hoping that was the issue, and not wanting to deal with a hole in the dash from a smaller synch.
Well, the synch module was buried way at the bottom of my dash area screwed to a panel near the floor of the cockpit. Took the 3 screws out and popped the new one in. We launched and the sync was fixed!
