Nice looking boat Steve. One thing about docking, the more you practice it the better you become and the better you become the easier (and less stressful) it becomes. Take some time to practice on a day where the wind is blowing so you can get some practice docking in a wind. It will make it easier on you when you have to dock with a wind blowing because you've already practiced it.

Thanks. The docking is going fine. I did just that (practice) the first week I bought her. And docking in my slip is easy. Sometimes I have some wind, but rarely any current. I just use the twin engines at idle speed and get her in fine.

She looks great Steve! Glad you are enjoying her. I actually know the previous owner. I just realized that recently. So if you have any questions you can PM me!

Enjoy the rest of the season.

I never met them, but they took fantastic care of the boat. There's normal stuff (canvas to repair/replace and and electronics to upgrade) but the boat is in fantastic shape and runs wonderfully. They were the original owners and maintained her really well. Even though I renamed the boat, I left the Sea Ray plaque with their names on it, hanging in the entrance to the cabin as a tribute to them...
