I've seen a lot of things on this site that are ugly. But that AINT one of 'em. It should add to your pleasure & will reduce sun baked problems on your interior. You have a nice boat Bill & you have done many things so far to keep it that way. I say good job.

Hell, I'd cover all of the windows if I didn't have a covered slip.

Thanks....i didn't expect that.... i'm ready to get ribbed big time:grin: but its ok, im happy.it will make a difference and help save my polycarbonite from crazing...i hope....

Good thinking, Bill! Or, do we give the credit to Pat on this one?

My only concern (and it is very slight) is that the white thing (sheet?) may mar your camper windows from blowing against it in the wind (especially if any dirt collects on it). Maybe not... like I said, just a small concern. Either way, still a great idea.

Hi Dennis...

YES i thought of that, i made the sheet as taunt as i could get it, so it would not touch the shield to much,
but ill keep an eye on it and see how it goes:smt001

I like it. As a matter of fact I'm going to do something similar using the cover of a pop-up shelter that went "sailing" during the last storm. Hope to cut down on the afternoon sun.

I think it is a great idea, is their a way to maybe put it up from the inside with small white velcro dots?? This way you dont have to worry about the weather and you dont have to climb outside. Great idea thou - what material did you use??

Thanks,
We used a size full flat soft bed sheet....and four small bungee cords
