Have a 240 dancer. Any advice re: what kind of float or cushion to lay on the bow so wife can lay there?

Try Home Depot or Lowes for an outdoor chaise lounge cushion. They are made for outdoors and roll or fold up to use up less space. ;)

Can't take credit. I got that idea from this forum!

This is what I did...works great.

I picked up a couple of thick foam work-out mats at Target for $20 in blue. They are waterproof, will float, lightweight, grip the slick deck, and roll up small for storage. This is a similar mat to mine, different color.

The OP has a 240 so space to store is likely a major factor, which is why we went the route we did. Wish I had the room for some of these other options.

Matthew , where did you get yours? His looks like they made it. With sunbrella material.

Home Depot, I believe. If not, it was Lowes. It isn't Sunbrella material, but it is an outdoor material that can get wet and will dry out. One actually found the water last year and dried out just fine.

I do like John's blue ones with the adjustable back rests better.

My bow is kinda narrow so I thought a custom made size would be better the wife is good on the machine, that's why I asked. Also,it looks like a pillow of sorts did it come like that ?

Just another option with adjustable back rest

I just got one of these in from WM. The space between my railings is 24" and this fit perfect. I have used the outdoor furniture cushion before and while it worked ok I like this better as its firmer. Being able to raise the back as well as at the knees was a big plus for me. Storage could be an issue tho for you.

How does the WM lounge fold ? Storage for these could be an issue on most of our boats. I like them just wondering where I'd store it? If it folds in half maybe a good idea.

There is a profile when they are folded like any other folding lounge chair..You could just keep in cockpit for ride between destinations or for me I would lay flat on the bow between the grab rails on the deck and run 2 or 3 velcro straps to hold down....Because I had the Hurly Davit System and my tender could lay horizontal, that acted as my trunk all the time for fenders, bike, beach chair, etc.

I haven't seen that pic but the best I could get it to fold over was to about 30 degrees from the thickness. Ill lay mine flat and strap to bow rails as John suggested.

We have two of these from West Marine, presently on sale for $60. Very light weight. Like the larger lounger they only fold closed to about 30 degrees, so we keep ours open and flat, easier to stow that way. Granted they're only for the back and legs above the knees but they work great even when laying down on them. My wife loves sitting or laying on the bow at 6-8 mph!

Aside, I see the lounger pictured earlier is $50 cheaper than WM sells it. If they still have price match no problem.
