Sundancer wet carpet

I have a '98 270DA and I am 99.9% sure I do not have a forward bilge pump. I can tell you though that the wood that Sea ray uses for the cabin floor is not encapsulated and if it remains wet for any length of time you will end up with a soft spot on the cabin floor. If the boat is in the water for the season I would get some silicone sealant and seal all around the windows and top deck hardware as a temp fix, I would not worry about how it looks. Let it dry, while its drying I'd suck all the water out with a wet vac. Then put a hose on the top deck let it run and check for water intrusion. The correct way to reseal the fixtures is to remove them completely, remove the old sealant, reseal and replace the hardware which is a time consuming job while standing on a ladder, perfect October chore. Good Luck
