Our 1982 SD 260 has a bulkhead with door between the galley and v-berth. I've noticed that some older and newer SDs only have a sort of low partition with no door. The only difference I can see is that these are usually 250s. Is the length what determined this or something else? Just curious, trying to figure out all the different configurations.

Hey brother, I noticed and wondered the very same thing. I like the teak wall and door looks, function and privacy. The low wall and curtain may feel more open on the shorter boats. I noticed the low wall on the newer Sundancers (newer than 1982). Have you seen it on older models? I agree, I have seen lots of different configurations on the same model Sea Rays down to the Cuddy's. I concur and am curious too.

This was a big thing for me. I had to have a cabin that had a door and not just curtains.

I snore,( I would guess lots of us do). My wife cannot take it...Sad but true. One of the things that made me interested in the boat I now have is the fact that the aft cabin is closed off by a door. (Admirals retiring to quiet area for the night)

All of the post 98 310-340 seemed to of had only a curtain on the forward and aft berths. I know a lot of the 290's are set up similar to mine with aft cabin doors.

The 380 I looked at had the privacy door forward. Curtain aft.

I Really like the looks of the 360, as this has the privacy doors in the forward berth.

I used to think it was just the "newer" models, like '83 on but have seen the same in older so I assume its the shorter versions too maybe...
