Is there a "breaker" for the telescopic retractable bimini on the 2017 Sundancer Coupe? I extended the bimini and it ran into the rear canvas (while it was still snapped). It will not work now? Thanks in advance...

Every item will have either a breaker or a fuse. Start by looking at your 12VC breaker panel - you may have more than one. These could be in the cockpit, cabin or even in the bilge. You know your boat better than me so you likely already know where these are. Most likely, this will be on breaker, not an individual fuse. If the motor is making noise - then look to see if it got knocked cockeyed and jammed.

Thanks so much for the help. !

So the main breaker panel, the AC DC panel is in the salon below. No breaker there.

The other breaker panel (and battery switch) is underneath the cushion up top. There’s no breaker for the telescopic Bimini there either.
Hmmm?

I don’t believe they’re any breakers in the engine compartment?

Quite a few Sea Rays do - I honestly can't say for sure if your boat does, though.

Does it make any noise at all? That would help to know if it is getting any power. Perhaps it is wired down circuit from a GFCI - have you checked to see if any of those have tripped?

if this Bimini is from searay they use sure shade and their website is

If your boat is built like mine, the controller sits in the coupe behind the sun roof. You need a crow bar wrapped in tape to pull the panels down to get at it. Besides the breaker the other issue I would be worried about is if one extension went out rather than the other and it is crooked so to speak. Let us know how it goes

The bimini extensions are not off-set; they are even. I think it needs a Hard Home Re-Set.
There is NO remote or Fob; just a toggle switch. So, the Sureshade "Control Box" is located behind the ceiling panel, just aft of the helm?

On mine it is in the coupe roof behind the sunroof towards the rear. If I remember correctly there are 3 vinyl panels and it was above the center one.
