I have the dreaded cracked hose problem on my 48 Sundancer. After evaluating the work needed to get to the hoses, I decided it's probably easier to overhaul everything. So, I'm planning to overhaul my entire sanitation system this winter from the toilet bowls back including rebuilding my VG4's. I plan to remover the bow thruster batteries, the water heater and the VG 4's. It may be a little more time consuming but will give me much easier access to everything. It also gives me the opportunity to clean everything in that part of the bilge and I'll probably repaint everything while all is out. Since I'm going this far, I'm looking for advise on:
What's the best sanitation hose I can get??
Other than the VG4 repair kit (Duck Bills, below and seals) is there anything else I should consider?
As far as the toilets, everything is fine at the moment but since they'll be out, is there anything I should consider doing as "preventative"?

Any other suggestions of things I should do? All exhaust hoses have been replaced...

Thanks and all suggestions are welcome and appreciated!

Flush valves, bowl seals and floor flange seal.

So I'm nearly done overhauling my entire sanitation system. I have to tell you, pulling the old hose out and installing the new hose was way more difficult than anticipated. I'm about 80% done and I put my VacuFlush VG4 pumps back in yesterday. I should be ready to test everything in the next few days. My pumps have been completely rebuilt as well. The pump instructions say to prime the pumps prior to using them. How do I prime the pumps? Is it as simple as filling the VG4 tanks with water? I'll be posting more information and details on my experience if anyone is interested. Anyone that has a 48 Sundancer and hasn't replaced their sanitation hoses will need to as my old hoses were permeating and ready to go.
