Sundancer 470 Platform Questions

Hi Guys,
New to the Forum, great site! Getting a 2012 470 and it has a fixed platform. Wondering if anyone has suggestions as to how we get a SeaDoo 155 on the platform?

1. What is the load capacity of the fixed platform?

2. Are there any drive on or non hydraulic solutions.

3. What are the cautions against towing? (I understand there are some intake mods to the SeaDoo that have to occur??)

hey Doug - congrats on the 470…mine is same with the fixed platform. I do know you can have it retrofitted to hydraulic ( I think about 30k) and it is the same as if you or the orig owner had done it when the boat was built. You're right on the towing comment, there's some kind of clamp that has to keep the water from being forced thru the SeaDoo while being towed. Good luck with the 470, don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions on the boat.

Probably just going to get an inflatable that can be pulled onto the platform then secured in a cradle. Learning new things about this boat every day!
