Sundancer 290 1992 questions

Hello

Can anyone tell me what the HP range on a 1992 Sundancer 290 is please. I believe there should be a certification plate but I cannot find it, I'm n the UK so maybe different.

Also I understand that the circa 1992 Sea Ray Sundancer 290 canme with either twim or single Engine configuration. Does anyone have any pictures of the single Engine configuration mounts and how it is in relation to the twin.

I believe the carbed 4.3s in the twin application were 190hp per side mated to alpha 1s. The old carbed 7.4 bravo lx was 330hp. Our 90' 270 was mated to a bravo 1. The 91 270 and 92-93 290s had bravo 2s mated to the big blocks.

The 4.3 had either a 2 barrell and 4 barrell with HP rating being different. My 1995 4.3 has a weber 4 barrell and is rated at 220 HP. They used different makes on the carbs also, so you need to look at yours and a parts manuel. I have twins also.

It may or may not have a Coast Guard capacity plate. It wasn't a requirement to have one on your boat. However, if it did have one, it would not list HP.
