Sundancer 260 with a 3/4 Ton Suburban?

I have a 1986 3/4 ton with a 350/th400 setup.

I am towing a 1985 sundancer 260.

Does this seem like a good set-up to you fellas?

Towing should be fine, just be as gentle on the truck as you can. The biggest concern is adequate trailer brakes. Most trailers do not have brakes on all axles and you are maxing out an older tow vehicle. So check your state laws concerning brake requirements and make sure your brakes are good if you plan to tow very far.

You really should consult your owners manuals for towing and payload capacities. Towing capacities can vary greatly with age, engine, transmission, and wheelbase.

That being said, I would guess you will be Ok with your setup.

The payload of my 97F250 is about 700 pounds less than a F250 from 2010. In addition, my diesel is not rated to tow as much as the diesels made today. That is what I meant by age.
