Any sun deck 200 owners have experience towing kids on wake board? I don't want to invest in a wb tower and I wonder if the boat would do the job. I feel the boat is rear heavy by design so I guess it would work but still want to hear for people who have tried it.
What speed, trim, etc...

I have the same boat and have towed both wake boards and tubes with no problem, even with a couple of people in the boat. Boarders were teenagers < 190 lbs. If you have passengers you will need to have the largest sit up front. Will take some time to become proficient at the helm. I find after take off you generally constantly feather the throttle to about 15mph. Could probably go faster but my riders were never that daring. Thought about a tower myself but the wakeboard phase is temporary, now that both my sons are grown and out on their own. My advice is skip the tower - boat is fine as is for towing.

I agree. While not a Sundeck, I have had almost the same experience with my 210 BR.

I tow 200 lb football playing teenagers. 1 at a time behind my 200 SD. No issues. Actually the boat can create a great wake with its heavy ass. However, the trick to the tower is that without it they won't have that upward pull to do flips and aerial tricks that they could with it. I agree with Intrepid.. Kids will be grown and gone in 2 years so no need to invest in a tower.
