Summer cruise

Dave,

We we going to stop at Greenport once thru the gut and go to Claudio's for lunch, prior to going to Montauk. But after discussing the plan with my dock neighbor, we decided to go right to Snug Harbor and get into town, since I have not been to Montauk except for fueling up last year on the way to Block.

Funny - A friend of mine took me for a cruise from Milford to Greenport (Claudio's) and back about 4 years ago on his 33 ft Formula. It was one great day trip as he cruised at about 35mph. I was sold on having a bigger boat and the next year I bought my DA. I have a great photo of me and my son in Greenport - great place as I remember.

Have a fun and safe trip home!

I have been to Claudio's form the CT River. Now that we have our own boat we keep it in Stratford.
How much time should I allow for the trip to Greenport.

Thanks Mark, definately eat at Grossman dock, inside or out. There is an ice cream store there or next door there is a Ben and Jerry's. Walking the docks at MYC and Star Island is a must. The Lighthouse is magnificent, enjoy your trip!

NEYC-Greenport is fun with or without kids. shops, food, clubs, carosoul, parks, old town charm, great places to see by dinghy. Go for it.

OK, now that I'm home and settled I wanted to post some more pix of my trip. Especially some additional celebrity boats.
