Hey guys Tony again, 2005 280 Sundancer twin 4.3s. I went down to the boat to swap oil pressure sending units. Long story short, ran the boat with both sending units disconnected, analog and smart craft gauges were giving me steady readings. It makes no sense. I know I have an oil pressure switch for the fuel pump. Will it get it’s readings from there and if so what is the use of the oil pressure sending unit. Thanks again. In case you didnt’t see my 1st post, all of a sudden I have a 10psi pressure drop in the port engine from 45 to 35 at idle and throughout rpms.
