Subwoofer.. 2004 sundancer 340. I'm looking to install two 10 inch subs. I can't find any photos or forums showing where people have installed. I'm going with JL. Iwas thinking on side of drivers seat pointing towards port side but seems 10 inch will be too big for diameter. Depth not a problem. An8 inch would fit fine. Then I was thinking under seat pointing up. That seeks like it would work but not sure if water would sit in it.
As for the second sub I have no good ideas.
Thanks

This is the typical location of the sub in a 340. There really isn't a good spot for the second sub. If you fell like keeping the transom door closed all the time you can install one there.

I have two 10" subs in boxes under the helm seat. The door has been cut open for air flow. Granted, my helm seating is much different but it at least gives you an idea. Could be in the fiberglass under the rear cockpit seating?

Just go with one sub in the cockpit, and put one in the cabin and call it a day. The boat doesn't need two, as long as you are using a quality amp(s).

I agree. Get a good dedicated amp that matches it power handling ability, a base knob and I'd be surprised if you're not completely satisfied. The JL 10" provide great bass.

I have a 2000 340 and I do audio on the boats , if you like pm me your # and I can give you some ideas. Thanks Michael
