Submersible pump suggestions?

For boat wash down you do not need the automatic on/off function. That will save you some money. A standard sump pump will not put out much pressure but will give you volume. Another option is to go with a submersible pump. This will give you pressure and volume but at a higher initial cost. You can get these at a farm supply store, a 1/4 or 1/2 hp will be more then adequate. Just make sure it is 110V, two wire.

Thanks for the suggestions. Earlier this week was my first trip to the new slip. The boat was filthy and I was feeling pretty depressed about such a nice boat looking so dirty. So I got up at the crack of dawn while everyone was still asleep and washed the boat. I ended up using all the fresh water from my 20 gallon reservoir and it worked great. I was for the most part able to rinse off all parts of the exterior and even had enough to clean and rinse the deck. I did go through all of it though. I will see how the rest of the summer goes and then decide if I want to invest in an electric pump.
