I have just put a new amp and subwoofers in my 270 DA.I mounted my amp under sink real nice. The subs on the other hand are in their own carpeted boxes.I would like to mount, but they are not waterproof. Also don't want to rattle anything loose.I have 20' wire on subs now.I just sit one on bow and one in the cockpit that seems fine, but isn't very attractive.Any Ideas? Thanks

It worked for me....
I put mine under the co-pilots seat. The carpeted boxes wouldn't fit so I used a piece of 10" pvc pipe. I cut a plywood plug for one end and drilled and tapped holes for the woofer in the other end (added a proper wire terminal too) then carpeted the tube. It looks and sounds great.
One thing I had to add some velcro to the seat because it would 'rattle' with the heavy bass.
