Can anyone assist a novice boater with a stuck speedometer on an '02 Sundeck?

All other gauges seem to be operating normally, including fuel and battery, but speedometer is stuck at 28 mph. Not sure if a cable came loose, or if I'm looking at a fuse issue?

Can anyone offer some advice?

Much obliged in advance.

Your speedometer is pressure driven from a pitot hole on the forward edge of your outdrive. It has filled with debris that you have to clean out. I use a small 3/32 drill bit and hand turn it into the hole to clean it out.

If you can get to the back of the speedo pull the tube off and using a cheap (9.95 harbor freight) 12v compressor blow some air down the tube it should clear it. The compressor can also blow up the tow toys.
