I have a 1988 Express Cruiser 340. I wanted to pull my props for the winter and get them tuned up. The port prop came off with a little heat and a good tap with a hammer. The starboard side is stuck. I’ve used three different pullers with two map gas torches at the same time. It will not budge. Has anyone had any luck with an hydraulic three jaw puller? I just don’t wanna mess up my shaft or the strut beating on this. Any ideas? I’m just about ready to cut this prop off and get a new one.

How about dry ice on the shaft before you hit it with the hammer?

I was going to say... I had a stuck prop and fooled around with the map gas.... As soon as I got a real acetylene/oxygen torch it popped right off
