I have a few screws that will not hold because of stripped chipped fiberglass. They are not for covers and not structural or bearing any load, also the holes are through 1/8" thick fiberglass (no core wood, just fiberglass).
For the holes that are chipped and I can not get behind them so would like to find something that can set up inside. This would be a temporary fix as I am schedules to have the entire radar arch redone this upcoming winter season
Is there any type of epoxy I can set in the holes and once dried use the screws?
For the other holes are in sheet fiberglass, I can get behind them. Instead of epoxying a wood backer, has anyone used threaded rivets in fiberglass? not sure how well it would grab
