Thought I would share how I have stored my canvas for the winter. My canvas has to come off for the winter due to the winter cover frame I have. Rather than leave it on the boat I bring it home to store where it is warm and dry. I am sure this will help extend the life of it not being exposed to extreme freeze / thaw cycles all winter and at around $8000 to replace I am anxious to maximize useful life (it was new in 2009). Last year I layed each window panel flat with a towel in between - in our unfinished basement. This year we finished the basement so all I have are a couple of storage areas now and really no where to lay the panels flat. My solution is to hang the panels. I have some 1x2 rails. I added hooks on top and screw in press studs on each side - spaced to the specific panel. The panels now clip on to the wood with the snap domes and hang straight with no creases and take up minimal room on one side of our storage room.
