Stop the Presses. I Found the best cleaner ever for vinyl and hard surfaces.

Bugger, not showing up on google search for Australia.

Going to cost me more in postage than the product!

Well, if you get some, like it and want more, we'll drop some off for you in Nov free of shipping & handling, should be in your neck of the woods then.

I treid some on my cockpit vinyl and it worked OK but my vinyl wasn't too dirty to begin with. It will not remove mold spots (which i have a few). Bleach seems to be the only answer for that. I have not tried it on my windhsield yet to remove the hard water spots but will report back later this week with results.

We can do that too, no problem if you want one:) Just let me know when and where to meet to hand it over (anything else you need?) Have a quick question if you don't mind, am busy looking at hotels and would really appreciate an opinion from someone there. Which would be the better area for us "tourists" to see as much as possible in 4 days, Darling Harbour area or the Rock (think our cruise goes from Darling Harbour Wharf #8).

Thanks!

Brenda

Hmmm........ Much of a muchness, they are not very far apart. Are you a member of any Hotel Chain at all, in regards to discounts? If not Wotif.com is probably what I use in Australia

Darling Harbour, is walking distance around Darling Harbour (Obviously), reasonably good restaurant strip on the opposite side of the harbour, which is King Street Wharf. Walking distance to China Town, which is again retsaurants. Walking distance around to the casino, yes we have one casino, it's not Vegas. There is also the Aquarium in Darling Harbour and a small Wildlife park ( have never been to it )
The opera house would probably be a 30 minute walk, Rocks is just around the corner from that. Sydney city 10 mins.

The Rocks, right under the harbour bridge. Restaurants in the rocks through several streets. Historic area, as old as we have in Australia for buildings. View across the harbour to Luna Park, also to the Opera house. 5 minutes walk to the cruise terminal - Both terminals the one near Darling Harbour and the one in The Rocks. Friday night markets in the Rocks. 5 minutes walk to the ferry terminal. Ferries run to Taronga Zoo. Manly, Parramatta, Lunch/Coffe cruises (also available from King St Wharf, near Darling Harbour, Coffee, lunch, dinner cruises that is)

Darling Harbour has quite a few hotels, with varying prices and level of comfort etc.

The Rocks doesnt have as many but are quite good. There is one just under the Bridge, Sebel, I think it is still called the Sebel as it is now owned by Accor, it is one of the original Finger Wharfs, Warehouses that has been converted into a hotel, But there are several. If you want to know anything, ask away or pm

There is quite a lot to do in Sydney, we normally go in ourselves sevearl times a year and wander around. We have done most of the lunch/dinner/ coffe cruises more than once and enjoy it every time.

Out of Sydney for a day trip is the Blue Mountains, Katoomba, which has just opened its rail car ride, the steepest railway in the world. We generally take visitors for a trip up.

Thanks Ian, especially for the Katoomba tip:)

Correction on the Katoomba, should be REOPENED

I read the post and ordered on Amazon. When it arrived I took all my removable cushions home and I think this stuff worked great. Really whitened up my vinyl and I love that there's no harsh chemicals.

I got my order in last week. Yesterday I thought I'd do a little spot on my cushion just to see what the fuss was about. After all, the cushion was awfully clean anyway. Well, after I did that spot I had to do the whole cushion otherwise it wouldn't be even. Well then THAT cushion didn't match the one next to it.

3.5 hours later my cockpit looks AWESOME!

The Admiral used it on both heads today. The shower and all of the gelcoat in both look fantastic now, no hard water spots.

Used it on the vinyl yesterday ... didn't do diddly squat.

Had cleaned them already with Mequiars though

Same here. Zippo. I use Meguiars as my regular cleaner also. Maybe it will be the wonder cleaner for my older clear vinyl.

If anyone boating out of the Occoquan River in Northern Virginia wants to try this product for free, you can have mine. My existing cleaners all cleaned as well or better than this on everything I tried. Just PM me and we can arrange the handoff.

I knew I should have waited longer to buy it :) We've already opened ours, but haven't tried it yet. The plan is to work on the seats tomorrow.

Well, if you end up loving it then now you will have two (unless I hear from someone else first).
