Stingray Hydrofoil on a 290?

Someone told me it would help me plane? Anyone ever heard of adding this to a 290 with two outdrives??:huh:

I have had success with them on smaller boats I have owned in the past, but from what I have read they loose their effectiveness on boats larger than 24' or so.

Some have said they have success using tabs to help get on plane. I have found they just create more drag and make it worse, YMMV.

Have you considered different props maybe something with some stern lift?

I would think that trim tabs will do more for you than a hydrofoil.
