Steering Cable Replace ?

I am replacing the steering cable in a 1988 Sorrento 23.... I got the number off the old cable, Teleflex ssc12476, but cant find a match for it online anywhere.... after the number it also says what looks like "16 5ftJun87"

There is a large space between the 16 and the 5... is this a 16.5ft cable? Or should I pull the thing out and measure it? also, I can find a match for ssc12416.... could I have misread the 1 for a 7?

Hello! I have same problem, the numbers are identical, but no results anywhere..

In Croatia, local dealer said that this is replaced with new steering system so i shoud buy cable and steering rack from a newer version
