Steering a REALLY BIG boat!

Well I don't think any of the big Sea Ray boaters in the forum are going to be able to top me when it comes to steering a really big boat! I just got back from a Distinguished Visitor embark aboard the aircraft carrier George HW Bush at sea in the Atlantic. And as the picture below proves, I actually got to steer one of the largest warships in the world!!! Totally awesome! And by the way the arrested landing and cat shot aboard the COD were also very exciting!!!!!!! Hard to believe that if the Bush was going at full speed, my little 29' Sea Ray would be hard pressed to keep up with her!

Very jealous! Looks like you had a great experience. Did you see any Honda portable generators strapped to the stern?

No Honda generators, but they do tie down jet engines to the fantail for live testing.

For a split second while steering I got the urge to call "Hard a-lee!" and give the wheel a spin, but I didn't think the captain would like my spilling half the air wing over the side!

And being the admiral was not using "her" chair on the flag bridge...
