I just installed a new Pioneer Premier stereo. Now there is static on all the radio stations. I made sure the antenna was pluged back in to the radio of course. But i dont understand what the deal is:huh:. I'm wondering if i pulled a ground on the antenna or somthing.

Attach a ground wire to the chassis of the radio. Small guage should work fine.

dj,

The 340 Dancer may have an electronic antenna requiring 12 volt and ground leads.

the wiring harness for the old radio just about matched the new radio. i do not remember leaving any wires un hooked that would show a power antenna. I'll have to double check everything again

turn off battery charger and check if you still have noise.
